A 13-member, short-term, mission team that is spending the week at our church plant in Ankeny, Iowa, set out Monday morning to get the word out about Grace Life of Greater Des Moines. They began in the neighborhood of Nate and Carrie Koenig. Fliers in hand, they split up and were able to report at the end-of-the-day meeting that they had reached more than 700 homes and had 20 good Gospel interactions with the people of the neighborhood. One of the most encouraging reports was the reception two of the team members received from a lady of the Muslim faith. They were able to share about Christ and His atonement for sin and to invite her to the church and the ladies’ Small Group Bible study, in which she showed some interest.

Please continue to pray for the team, which consists of nine students and five adults, including our Senior Pastor, Jeff Noblit; our Associate Pastor for Missions, Steve McAlister; and our Student Activities Director, Justin Cosby.

Steve McAlister spent the weekend with Grace Life Church of Greater Des Moines. It was a very productive weekend with final plans being made for the upcoming Student Mission Trip.
